I found these wonderful fabrics at Gone to Earth. They cost £11.20 and are sold in something called a ‘bundle’ – a new discovery for me! Bundles are made up of quarter metre offcuts of complementary fabrics designed to be used together – you can order larger pieces if you want. They’re a great way of stocking up on materials for stitch projects, especially patchwork. Or check out Gone to Earth owner Julia’s blog where she regularly does a ‘lucky dip’ giveaway of fabric bundles. It’s a great blog full of wonderful makes and tips.

Thank you – I’m thrilled you like the bundles. I started putting them together as a way of showing prints off side by side, to give an idea of relative patterns sizes and the way the colours work together…. and then folk seemed to like them. It’s fun creating ‘new’ ones as I find new ‘combinations’ that seem to work together.

Lovely fabric, am off to check out Julia’s blog now! Another great place to get bundles is Saints and Pinners. I bought a few of their bundles before Christmas to make my handmade bears from. They were kind enough to put a photo on their blog:

Julia (Gone to Earth) is also really brilliant if you want to see how fabrics she has in stock go together. She gives great advice. Highly recommended.
